The Art Society Newbury Programme 2023/24

The programme offers:

• 10 lectures between September and July with world class lecturers
• Tours and visits to places of cultural and historical interest at home and abroad
• Special Interest Days which provide the opportunity to learn about a topic in depth
• Volunteering to preserve our heritage for the future
• Sponsorship for Young Arts to encourage future art lovers

How to join

The full list of events and how to join can be found on the Newbury Arts Society’s website: theartssocietynewbury.org.uk.  There is no waiting list and new members will be warmly welcomed at any time during the year. All the lectures take place at Arlington Arts Centre located at Mary Hare School, Newbury, and most are also available on Zoom. A year’s membership includes 10 lectures at either 10.30am or 1.45pm for a fee of £60 per person or £115 for two people living at the same address.

The Arts Society Newbury Chair, Kate Harwood, says: “We’re always keen to welcome new members, come for a coffee and a chat before the lecture and meet other members and the Team. We are celebrating our 50th anniversary next year. There is no better time to join.”
