Our Old Master, British and European Art department handles a wide variety of fine art from the 16th to 19th century. These range from Old Master paintings, drawings and prints, 18th century portraiture and landscapes to works by major Victorian artists as well as maritime, sporting, and topographical art.
We hold three Fine sales a year, during the spring, summer, and autumn where the most important works that we have are presented in our fully illustrated and researched catalogues. These sales are supported by an extensive online and printed marketing campaign.
Our sale totals regularly surpass £1 million and attract interest from hundreds of bidders from across the globe.
In addition to our Fine sales, we include more affordable Old Master, British and European Art in our regular Art Online sales. Works of this period also feature prominently in our Collection and Single Owner sales.
Our team of specialists have over forty years’ experience between them, and we pride ourselves on providing the best possible guidance to both consignors and buyers. We are happy to advise on items for sale, insurance, or probate.
