Recently consigned, is this pair of mid-20th century diamond scrolled clips by Boucheron, Paris. The scrolled clips are pavé set with various old European cut and brilliant cut diamonds, with a part border of baguette cut diamonds in channel setting, and graduated collet set old European cut diamonds, approximately 9.20 carats total. The reverse is signed Boucheron Paris, stamped with maker's mark of a R over D and eagles head and dogs head French poinçons.
Pieces by Tiffany & Co are always popular. Featured here is a mid-20th century diamond circlet brooch. The hoop has old European cut diamonds in a claw settings, measuring at approximately 4.48 carats total. The brooch is pin stamped 'TIFFANY & CO'. and stamped with French poinçons as well as French poinçons to the brooch clasp including maker's stamp with ST.
This late Victorian diamond star brooch with matching ear clips, is rather splendid. The radiating gold backed silver stars are set throughout with graduated old cut diamonds. The brooch is approximately 5.07 carats total, and the ear clips approximately 2.56 carats total, with removable screw in brooch and ear clip fitting.
This early 20th century diamond pendant is exquisite, circa 1920. The pierced shaped knot like millegrained pendant is set throughout with old cut diamonds, with two old cut diamond drops, approximately 2.37 carats total, and a central pear cut diamond drop, weighing 1.78 carats.
Natural pearls continue to be highly sought after at auction. This lozenge shaped pendant, consigned from a family of title, is set with nine natural pearls and interspaced with approximately 2.44 carats of brilliant cut and old European cut diamonds. It will gather a great deal of international interest.
A fascinating highlight within the sale is this early 15th century iconographic gold ring, depicting St John the Baptist, circa 1430. The slightly fluted bezel with shaped ends is incised with the figure of St John the Baptist wearing a heavy cloak and pointing to the lamb, with engraved sunburst shoulders and a floral engraved shank with diagonal beaded detail.
