Mark became head consultant at Dreweatts in January 2015. Having dedicated over 30 years’ to the fine art and auctions industry, Mark brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Dreweatts. He has handled and overseen the sale of some of the greatest ceramics collections since he began at Sotheby’s in 1986, including The William Wilshire Collection of William de Morgan and the celebrated Albert Wade Collection of British Art Pottery and The Peter and Traudi Plesch Collection of Chinese Ceramics and Works of Art.

Benefiting from over two decades working at the top of the auction industry, Mark has been tasked with nurturing client relationships and curating a fresh calendar of sales concentrating on Chinese porcelain and works of art.

Mark was an undergraduate at University College London before joining the Ceramics department at Sotheby’s London in 1986 where he worked for 10 years, then moving on to a role as Assistant Head of Country House Sales at Sotheby’s. More recently he was a Director at Christies where he focused on developing business for the company focusing on Chinese and European Ceramics before consulting for Dreweatts.

在1986年加入伦敦苏富比之前，Mark在伦敦大学学院获得了他的人类学学士学位，之后作为苏富比私人庄园收藏部门的副主管，一直工作了十载。在加入德物兹之前，他作为佳士得的主席，始终致力于扩展其在欧洲及中国陶瓷方面的业务。
