On Tuesday 19 March, we held our Fine Wine, Champagne, Vintage Port and Spirits auction. The auction saw great results, seeing active bidding throughout the day. The most sought-after lots ranged from large format Bordeaux and top Burgundy to wines from Italy, Spain, Lebanon, Australia, the United States and Ao Yun 2015 from China, all sending virtual paddles aloft.
Smashing presale expectations, Lot 148 included 6 bottles of 2005 Domaine Meo Camuzet, Vosne-Romanee Premier Cru, Les Chaumes which sold for £2,280.
Another highlight of the day, Lot 307, offered 12 bottles of 1997 Tommaso Bussola, Amarone della Valpolicella, Classico Vigneto Alto TB which achieved £1,020.
Towards the end of the sale, Lot 348 comprised 3 bottles of 2010 Vega Sicilia, Unico, Ribera del Duero and saw lively bidding before selling for £1,200.
