On Tuesday 28 April, we are honoured to offer Château Lafite from the Collection of Lord Rothschild at Stowell Park. The sale brings together Château Lafite Rothschild from the 1970s alongside a selection of other great wines, all of which have remained in situ since release, quietly maturing in the cellars of Stowell Park, Wiltshire.
Ahead of the auction, broadcaster and journalist Will Lyons and Dreweatts Wine specialist Mark Robertson met at The Woodspeen, Newbury, for a very special conversation and tasting session.
The pair begin by exploring the history of Château Lafite whilst discussing its enduring appeal for connoisseurs. This is followed by a tasting session of 1975 and 1976 vintages of Château Lafite from the cellar of Lord Rothschild at Stowell Park, we are delighted to offer both vintages in the upcoming auction.
Located less than five minutes from Dreweatts’ Donnington Priory location, The Woodspeen offers breathtaking views over the West Berkshire Countryside. They have a clear vision; to provide exceptional dishes, using the best ingredients the season offers, warm and attentive service, carefully chosen wines and cocktails for your enjoyment.
