No. 1
Lot 235: 2009 Chateau Haut Brion - 1x600cl | Est. £3,500-4,500 (+ fees)
"Haut-Brion is the original trailblazer for top-quality claret, served to King Charles II on his restoration and enjoyed by Samuel Pepys as having, ‘a good and most particular taste’. Its bold, complex style always ages well and this rare imperial from the exceptional 2009 vintage makes quite the statement."
No. 2
Lot 233: 2000 Chateau Latour - 6x75cl | Est. £3,200-4,200 (+ fees)
"A milestone vintage of a quite exceptional wine, famous for its brooding power allied to tremendous finesse."
No. 3
Lot 159: 1999 Echezeaux, Domaine Rene Engel - 2x75cl | Est. £3,000-4,000 (+ fees)
"One thing we love about fine wine is the way it captures a moment in time – these bottles are no exception, made by a domaine that no longer exists but whose reputation for fine, elegant, ageworthy wines makes the remaining few very much in demand today."
No. 4
Lot 158: 2003 Chambolle Musigny Les Amoureuses Domaine Comtes de Vogue - 1x75cl | Est. £400-600 (+ fees)
Lot 157: 2008 Chambolle Musigny Les Amoureuses Domaine Comtes de Vogue - 1x75cl | Est. £500-700 (+ fees)

No. 5
Lot 46:1992 Corton Charlemagne, Domaine Bonneau du Martray - 2x75cl | Est. £150-250 (+ fees)
"We’ve got a soft spot for this stellar domaine, having visited and admired the wine for some time – it’s quite simply one of the greatest expressions of Chardonnay you’ll find, somehow both intensely grounded and extravagantly exotic, not to mention magisterial in its ability to age." No. 6
Lot 108: 2000 Bienvenue Batard Montrachet, Domaine Louis Carrion - 2x75cl | Est. £500-800 (+ fees)
"This domaine is known for its consistency as much as the finesse of its wines – the Bienvenues is its only Grand Cru vineyard."
No. 7
Lots 211-214: 1959 Chateau Lafite Rothschild, 1er Cru Classe, Pauillac, 1x75cl | Est. £1,500-2,500 (+fees), bottles offered individually
"The way that Lafite effortlessly combines elegance, complexity and an ability to age is quite magical – it’s one of our all-time favourite wines. Great older vintages of Lafite are renowned, the 1959 among them, but in increasingly short supply."
