Dreweatts Summer season of fine sales launches with Fine Furniture, Carpets, Ceramics and Lighting (auction on: 27 June). The auction comprises 246 lots, and also includes longcase clocks, chandeliers, mirrors and tapestries.

The wide selection of furniture covers William & Mary, Queen Anne, Charles II, Georgian, Victorian and Renaissance Revival eras and styles, with pieces in oak, ash, burr yew, walnut, gonçalo alves, satinwood, kingwood, rosewood, beech and mahogany.

Carpets hail from the workshops of Tabriz, Mahal Agra, Bakhtiar, North-West Persia, Lavar Kirman, Teftez and Ghom Erami, woven in wool and fine silk.
