Sarah Hobrough has spent over 30 years in the field of British paintings drawings and watercolours working with some of the leading practitioners in the field. She began her career at Spink and Son in 1996, where she began to develop a specialism in British art of the 18th to 20th centuries. In 2002, she helped establish Lowell Libson Ltd, serving as co-director of the gallery.

Prior to joining Dreweatts, Sarah ran her garden design consultancy and worked as a freelance art consultant. Amongst her clients were, Christie’s, where she was appointed consultant senior specialist in British Watercolours and worked on several important sales, including Sir Edward Burne-Jones’ Love Among the Ruins in 2013 as well as several single owner sales. She advised and oversaw all aspects of collection management for private clients, promoted and organised exhibitions for a contemporary artist and researched and wrote catalogues notes for individual works of art for academic and commercial purposes. In 2017 she began consulting for Guy Peppiatt Fine Art. Sarah holds a degree in History of Art and Archaeology from S.O.A.S and U.C.L, University of London, and a post-graduate diploma in Residential Garden Design.
