The Queen's Green Canopy | Dreweatts plants trees to celebrate Her Majesty's Platinum Jubilee

On 14 October, Dreweatts were delighted to be able to take part in the Queens Green Canopy (QGC). This is a unique tree planting initiative created to mark Her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee in 2022, inviting individuals, as well as schools, communities and groups, cities and counties, and businesses from across the United Kingdom to “Plant a Tree for the Jubilee”.

The QGC was designed to encourage the planting of trees to benefit future generations and create a long-lasting legacy in honour of Her Majesty's leadership of the Nation.

Dreweatts planted an apple tree ‘Blenheim Orange’ and a pear tree, ‘Doyenne du Commice’ and we have registered these trees as part of the official scheme and on the interactive map.
