Nina Campbell

Nina Campbell's memories of this commission:

'It is always a pleasure when you work with people who have lovely furniture as it makes design much easier. This particular commission was carried out in the days of much richer vibrant colours. This is demonstrated here in the red lacquer room, where the wonderful colours have stood the test of time.'

Nina Campbell is one of the world’s most respected and influential interior designers. Her designs appeal to both young and old and sit well in both contemporary and traditional interiors.

Her enthusiasm and interest in design was developed when at the age of 19 she went to work for John Fowler at the prestigious decorating firm Sibyl Colefax and John Fowler. Shortly after Nina set up her own decorating business and the interior design side of the business continues to flourish with notable projects, both commercial and residential, throughout the world.

Nina Campbell feels very strongly that a house should be personally tailored to each client and should reflect their own particular needs, taste, and lifestyle. She is the author of five books on Interior design.
