Dreweatts to auction The Selwyn Demmy Collection | Autumn 2021
Dreweatts is delighted to be offering at auction this autumn the private collection of Manchester racehorse betting tycoon Selwyn Demmy (1932-2020). The Selwyn Demmy Collection comprises furniture, works of art, fine clocks and bronzes as well as 20 paintings by British artist Arthur Delaney (1927-1987). It will be offered in the following auctions:
- 8 September: Fine Furniture, Sculpture, Carpets, Ceramics and Works of Art
- 6 October: Fine Clocks, Barometers and Scientific Instruments
- 12 October: Modern and Contemporary Art
The auction catalogues will be available online and in print one month before the sale.
