Pictured here is ‘Black and White Moorings’ by Terry Frost (British 1915-2003). It is a superb example of Frost’s abstract style. His use of a pared down palette and the accomplished balance of line and form is a feature which runs his work through right from the early 1950s. The present work from 1985 features strong motifs of the Cornish landscape such as coastline, quays and waves, which were also a constant in his art | Already consigned to Modern and Contemporary Art | 3 April. Join us next week at Dreweatts London for a free appraisal as we welcome consignments for our forthcoming Fine Art sales on 3 April. 24 January | 10.30am-3pm16-17 Pall Mall, London, SW1Y 5LUContact us to book an appointment!#dreweatts #pallmall #valuationday #fineart #terryfrost #britishartist #oldmasterpaintings #britishart #europeanart #modernart #contemporaryart #oiloncanvas #worksofart
