Lucy Darlington MRICS

Picture Specialist, Old Master, British & European Art

Lucy Darlington graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2008, with a degree in the History of Art. She went on to study at Sotheby’s Institute of Art, graduating in 2010, with an MA in Fine and Decorative Art.

Between 2010 and 2015, Lucy worked at Bonhams, London at both the New Bond Street and later at the Knightsbridge salerooms. Whilst there, Lucy specialised in Silver, Portrait Miniatures and Fine Art with a special interest in South African and Marine paintings.

Lucy joined Dreweatts in 2016, and is involved with the development and production of Dreweatts’ Old Master British and European Picture sales.

In October 2018, Lucy was a finalist in the NAVA Novice Auctioneer of the Year Competition and now regularly auctioneers for Dreweatts.

In May 2021, Lucy qualified as a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
