Charlotte Schelling

Originally from the Netherlands, Charlotte joined Dreweatts shortly after completing her MPhil in History of Art at the University of Cambridge, where she specialised in sixteenth-century Italian mythological imagery. Prior to this she was an undergraduate in History of Art at University College London. There Charlotte worked as a research assistant to Professor Alison Wright for several years, contributing to her future publication ‘Honour and Ornament: Acts of Framing in Italian Renaissance Art’ (Yale University Press).

Charlotte was previously an intern in the Old Master Paintings department at Sotheby’s, and has been involved with research and cataloguing at the British Museum, the Bridgeman Art Library and the Fitzwilliam Museum, Cambridge.
