A. The calendar of Upcoming Auctions is available via the Auctions page.

The auction calendar is organised in date order and also features auctions still open for consignments.


Q. How can I find out about Dreweatts specialist departments?

A. Dreweatts specialist departments can be viewed on the Departments page, which can be accessed from the Home Page.

In these individual department pages we provide an overview of each selling area, upcoming auctions and past results as well as contact information for the specialists.

We also provide a detailed directory of all the specialist areas covered by our specialist departments which may also accessed through the Departments page.


Q. How can I find out about the symbols which appear next to certain lots in the online catalogue?

A. Please refer to our Terms and Conditions for the full guide to symbols.


Q. How can I register to bid in an auction?

A. You can register to bid in any of our auctions by accessing the register to bid button, which shows alongside each forthcoming auction listed in Upcoming Auctions.


Q. How can I bid in an auction?

A. To find out about the bidding methods available for every auction, please visit our Buying at Auction page.


Q. How can I access auction results?

A. Auction results for every auction are available via the Auctions page. Auctions can be sorted according to certain criteria, e.g. by date or department.


Q. How can I pay for my bought lots?

A. Payment methods for bought lots are listed in the Buying at Auction page.


Q. How can I sign up to receive email notifications on upcoming auctions and other events hosted by Dreweatts?

A. You can sign up to receive Dreweatts emails, by completing the sign up for email alerts form.


Q. How can I find out what my property is worth?

A. Dreweatts offers a full valuation service, covering:

  • property to be offered for sale at auction
  • collections or items to be valued for probate and insurance purposes
  • works to be offered for sale through private treaty

Our valuation services can be accessed via the Valuations page.

Q. What if I want to discuss my property with a Dreweatts’ specialist?

A. Dreweatts main office and auction location is: Donnington Priory, Newbury, Berkshire RG14 2JE, telephone: +44 (0)1635 553 553.

Donnington Priory is open Monday – Friday from 9am to 5.30pm. The office is also open on certain Sundays for pre-auction viewing. These dates, where relevant, are advertised in the sale information for each auction in the Upcoming Auctions listing.

Valuation Days are held at Donnington Priory every month on the first Friday of the month, from 10am – 2pm, and no appointment is needed.

Dreweatts also has an office in London, at: 16-17 Pall Mall, St James’s, London SW1Y 5LU, telephone: +44 (0) 20 7839 8880.

Valuation Days are held at Pall Mall on a weekly basis, and by appointment only.

Please check the Valuation Day Calendar for information on Valuation Days held at Donnington Priory and Pall Mall, London. Valuation Days also take place in Rome and Bristol.


Q. How can I access and buy catalogues?

A. Dreweatts catalogues can be viewed online in two formats:

  1. As a listing of all lots in the auction
  2. As a pdf of the printed catalogue

Choose how you wish to view the online catalogue by clicking on the appropriate option next to the auction title in the Upcoming Auctions listing.

You can buy individual catalogues via the Purchase Catalogues page which shows against each auction in Upcoming Auctions.

You can also purchase a subscription to a series of catalogues within the Purchase Catalogues page.
