Traditional Art from the 17th – 19th centuries features frequently across the annual auction calendar.
We have had notable successes in selling both oils and works on paper to our wide client base of both European and international collectors.
Sales of particular note include a charming work by Carlo Bonavia (fl. 1740-1756) showing a view from Miseno, looking out across the Mare Morto which sold for £47,120. Another distinctive consignment of 17 watercolours and drawings by Edward Lear (1812-1888) from the Collection of Scandrett Harford (1787-1888) sold for a total of £37,800.
