A Chinese blue-glazed hu-form vase, of archaistic bronze form, the broad pear-shaped body rising from a slightly spreading foot to a waisted neck encircled with a raised fillet and flanked bya pair of deer-form handles, covered overall with a deep cobalt-blue glaze glaze, the base with a six-character apocryphal Kangxi mark in underglaze blue, 33cm high
