A Roman bronze model of the nude Aphrodite from Syria, circa 1st/2nd century A.D., portrayed standing with her weight on her left leg, wearing a diadem in her centrally parted hair with a chignon behind, her face turned a little to dexter, an apple held in her raised right hand, her left arm also raised and held out before her
