A French carved ivory rectangular diptych panel, the Crucifixion, mid 14th century, possibly by the Master of the Berlin Triptych of the Virgin in Glory, traditionally portraying Christ on the Cross, flanked by the robed figures of Mary of Clopas and Mary Magdalene, in recessed relief beneath a cusped and crocketed arch, with finials rising at each side above

12cm high, 7.5cm wide
