A well-engineered 5 inch gauge model of a 0-6-0 side tank locomotive No 1504 ‘Speedy, built by the late Mr Sidney Herbert Underhill of Bristol. The silver soldered copper boiler with fittings including pressure gauge, water sight-glass, regulator, graduated direction lever, cab controlled cylinder drain-cocks and hand operated feed pump. The chassis having twin outside cylinders with Walschaerts valve gear, fluted motion, injector, steam whistle and brakes. The model finished in black ‘British Railways’ livery with detailed rivet work, fitted steps and hand rails. Length 90cm. Cab width 25cm. Cab height 36cm. Last run on air. Cab roof and steam cover not present. Comes with carrying cradle.
