Zhenlei Chen MA

Zhenlei joined Dreweatts in March 2022, his areas of expertise and interest in Chinese export porcelain, jades, and textiles.

Prior to joining Dreweatts, Zhenlei had worked with Bonhams and The Victoria and Albert Museum while completing his Master's degree. His studies focused on the transcultural values of Chinese porcelains including both export and imperial examples, key case studies: V&A William Giuseppe Gulland Abundant Collection and Dyrham Park, Gloucestershire.

Zhenlei holds a Master’s degree in the History of Design from The Royal College of Art and The Victoria and Albert Museum with V&A Anthony Gardner Fund, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Fashion Marketing from The University of Leeds with First Class Honours and achieved 85% in his dissertation. Zhenlei is a member of the Oriental Ceramic Society.
