Lucy Gregory graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2008 with a degree in the History of Art. She went on to study at Sotheby’s Institute of Art, graduating in 2010 with an MA in Fine and Decorative Art. Between 2010 and 2015 Lucy worked at Bonhams, London, initially at New Bond Street and later at the Knightsbridge salerooms. Whilst there, Lucy specialised in silver, portrait miniatures and fine art with a special interest in South African and Marine paintings.
Lucy joined Dreweatts in 2016, primarily charged with the task of curating the picture section of the regular Interiors sales. From early 2018, Lucy, with a focus on Traditional pictures, has become more involved with the development and production of Dreweatts’ Fine Picture sales which include a wide range of works from Old Master Paintings to Contemporary Prints.
In October 2018 Lucy was a finalist in the NAVA Novice Auctioneer of the Year Competition and she is currently training to become an auctioneer at Dreweatts.
