Administrator / Specialist Departments (Full Time)
Donnington Priory | Newbury

We’re looking for an organised and methodical Administrator to provide administrative support to Dreweatts’ specialist departments and client service to Dreweatts’ new and existing clients.

Reports to: Executive Assistant to the Chairman and Managing Director, Dreweatts

Role responsibilities:

  • To act as first point of contact for email and telephone enquiries coming into Dreweatts
  • Maintain and update Dreweatts’ client and auction database (Navision)
  • Prepare, update and issue auction documentation for consignors and buyers
  • Prepare and send condition reports
  • Assist the Bid Department entering bids for upcoming auctions
  • Operate online bidding platform during auctions
  • Reception duties at Donnington Priory
  • Undertake ad hoc duties for Dreweatts’ colleagues when required and requested

Role Requirements:

Essential: 

  • Good understanding of and experience in working with MS Office suite
  • Good attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
  • Methodical and organised approach to workloads

Desirable:

  • An interest in the auction business
  • Client service experience

Dreweatts 1759 is based at Donnington Priory, the beautiful 17thc. country house in Donnington, close to Newbury, Berkshire.
