first edition , 16 folding engraved plates only (of 17, lacking final plate, supplied in good facsimile), 5pp. catalogue/errata at end, two old ink signatures on title, title lightly browned and slightly defective at upper outer corner (not affecting text), some light soiling and marginal staining, [Baillie p.124; Clockmakers' 562; Tardy p.169; Wing M418], for the Authors…, 1696 'a7 Moxon (Joseph) A Tutor to Astronomy and Geography, or an easie and speedy way to know the Use of both the Globes, Coelestial and Terrestrial…, third edition, engraved additional pictorial title, 17 woodcut and 12 engraved illustrations in text, first few leaves including both titles torn and damp-stained with slight loss (repaired, engraved title laid down), [Tardy p.180; Wing M3024], by Tho.Roycroft, for Joseph Moxon, 1674, both rebound in similar modern panelled calf, spines with paper labels titled in ink, the second spine slightly faded, 4to (2)
