⁂ The first important general treatise on clocks and watches published in Spain . The first edition was published in 1789, part of the efforts by Charles III to introduce a native horological production to Spain. It describes how to make all sorts of watches including pocket watches, clocks for the home and carriage, clocks to use at night and calendar clocks with pendulums. Both editions are rare; neither are listed on COPAC.
