A personal archive relating to Albert Tripp, R.V.M., latterly Page of the Presence, Buckingham Palace, including a Great War group of eight medals, comprising British War Medal and Victory Medal (27891 Pte A. Tripp D.C.L.I.), Defence Medal, Royal Victorian Medal, 1935 Silver Jubilee Medal, 1937 Coronation Medal, 1953 Coronation Medal, and Long Service Medal 1930-1950 with Thirty Years bar; together with a group of corresponding miniature medals; also household restricted use medals comprising Sweden: The Court Medal, silver; Ethiopia: Haile Selassie I Service Medal, silver; Portugal: (silver medal) Iran: Homayoun Medal; France: (silver medal); Thailand: Silver Medal of the Order of the Crown of Thailand;
Nepal: Order of Dakshina Bahu; also a black and white full-length portait photograph of Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip, signed to the mount and dated 1962; together with assorted tickets, programmes, menus and other items from a long period of service to the Royal Household and subsequent retirement.
