A Victorian mahogany extending dining table , circa 1870, with four additional leaf insertions in a leaf rack, rectangular top with moulded edge, conforming frieze, turned and reeded legs, brass caps and castors, 75cm high, the top 140 x 335cm
The Table bears the usual minor sciffs and knocks overall consistent with age and use.
There is a ring mark as well as one or two more significant scratches to the top.
The extra leaves are quite probably original but have not been much used and are a much darker colour. One end is detached from the base frame and there are losses to the leaf underside.
The table is a wind-out but there is no winder with it.
