A well engineered 7 'bc inch gauge model of Great Western Railway Class 7 (Armstrong) 4-4-0 tender locomotive 'Gooch', 8, built by Mr G. Hooper of Cornwall, the copper super-heated boiler with fittings including brass cased pressure gauge, sight glass, regulator, drain controls, lever-operated reverse gear, lever-operated smoke box doors, clack and safety valves, the cab with usual fittings, the chassis detail including twin inside cylinders with Stephenson s reverse gear, brakes, leaf springs, lubricating system and other usual fittings, the six-wheel tender with double axle water pump, fitted tool boxes, hand-operated brakes, water cocks, steps and hand irons, finished in green livery with brass mounted splashers, G.W.R. Swindon Works oval brass engraved plates and polished motion, 223cm long, the cab 25cm wide.
Boiler History: The locomotive has a Swindon copper boiler, purchased 14th June 2004, certificate No.41335. Hydrostatic test pressure 200 p.s.i. Steam pressure 100 p.s.i. Full documentation and declaration of conformity from Swindon Boilers.
