A fine static table-top scale model of the Ford Trimotor 'Tin Goose' 13-15 seat passenger aircraft, the wings, fuselage and tail assembly correctly covered in a corrugated aluminium skin, with working Ailerons, elevators and rudder interconnected to the steerable rubber-tyred tailwheel, with uncowled dummy 450 h.p. Pratt & Whitney 'Wasp' R-1340-S engines driving alluminium two-blade Hamilton-type propellers, the exposed flying control surface cables with horn connectors, the upper centre fuselage and inner mainplanes with dummy fuel filler caps, the passenger door with step, the mainplanes with twin landing lights, the wing tips and rudder top with standard navigation lights, the pilot's cockpit and passenger cabin glazed with celluloid, the cockpit with two seats, control wheels and dummy instrumentation, the passenger cabin with appropriate seating, the finely modelled engines with Townend ring exhaust collectors and pipes, the under-slung mainplane engines supported by struts over the braced main undercarriage with rubber-tyred wheels and mudguards, 40 1/4 inch (102cm) wingspan; together with a fine publicity photograph of a Ford Trimotor, and a press photograph of this aircraft on show at Olympia, London, circa 1930, both framed and glazed, (3).
