A collection of images from numerous sources, showing the aircraft in Royal Air Force service during the Second World War, from the prototype 'K5054' to later marks, including many fine air-to-air aircraft portraits, many of pilots and ground-crews, Squadron groups, accidents, battle damage, formations, aircraft in different threatres of war, numerous Squadron and unit markings, servicing, different weapon installations, an aircraft being examined by Luftwaffe personnel, named machines, Squadron line-ups, aircraft in U.S. markings, and some restoration projects and surviving machines, some images formerly in the Ashworth, Rawlings and Stroud archives, (approximately 100 images, in a folder).
