A collection of Air Ministry, manufacturer's and private images of aircraft, pilots, and air and ground crews with their machines, some Squadron groups, a few of U.S. operated British aircraft, the types including Armstrong Whitworth Whitley, Avro Anson and Lancaster, Bristol Blenheim and Beaufighter, Curtiss Tomahawk, De Havilland Dominie, Douglas Boston, Hawker Hurricane, Supermarine Spitfire and many others, unusual views of R.N.Z.A.F. Venturas in action, the D-Day glider landings in Normandy, a fine portrait of Louis, Earl Mountbatten of Burma, and many more of similar interest from previous collections, including Ashworth and Stroud, (approximately 100 images, in a folder).
