A pair of Chinese famille verte coral-ground ‘boys’ bowls, Jiaqing underglaze blue seal marks
Sold for £109,800; $169,100; €127,300

Dreweatts & Bloomsbury Auctions offer clients access to collectors in mainland China and Hong Kong. We hold two Fine Asian Ceramics and Works of Art sales a year in May and November as well as monthly Interiors sales.

The November Fine sale takes place during Asia Week when thousands of collectors and dealers visit the UK. In advance of the auction, a preview of the sale highlights takes place at Ely House, Dover Street, our flagship London gallery in the heart of Mayfair.

Our auctions have had notable successes over recent years with significant prices achieved. The Horlick collection of Chinese jades realised £850,000 and a fine Kyoto School ivory netsuke of a Kirin sold for £17,000. In addition, a Chinese famille rose porcelain table screen from the reign of the emperor Jiaqing (1796-1820) sold for £70,000 and a bronze model of a tiger, Warring States-Western Han style, sold for £64,480.
